First Holy Communion
Congratulations to (L to R) Julia Simon, Leo Claussen, and Liliana Gamez -- the three first communicants from English-speaking families of the parish in 2023. They received Jesus in Holy Communion at the 11:00 a.m. Mass last Sunday, April 16th. Twenty-three other children and youth received First Communion at our Spanish language Masses.
As Christians, we are all called to share the good news of Jesus with the world, making disciples of all nations. Plan to attend Discipleship Day on April 29th with Bishop Hying, where we will hear talks, have discussion, and learn practical tips and advice, all geared to helping us witness to the Faith in these troubled times. Lunch is provided. To assist with planning, please respond to the RSVP below. All parishioners and friends 16 years of age and up are welcome. You do not need to RSVP to attend; last minute deciders welcome!
Intercessory Prayer
Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; if you ask anything in my name, I will do it. (Jn 14:13-14)
